Senator Stephen Conroy, (the Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy), congratulated commercial broadcasters today for their ongoing efforts to produce a greater viewing experience for South Australians.
Bordertown, Keith, Kingston, Robe, the Gap and Naracoorte areas will now be able to receive the commercial digital channels GO!, Gem, 7TWO, 7mate, One and Eleven from 10 Nov 2011.
All viewers who already have digital reception will need to retune their set-top boxes or digital televisions in order to receive the new digital services in their area.
Viewers tuned to Mt Burr, Mt. Benson, Naracoorte and The Gap transmitter should rescan from 0930hrs on Thursday 10 November.
Viewers tuned to Bordertown and Keith should rescan from 1400hrs Thursday 10 November.
